Real estate prices in Clearwater, Florida has definitely moved downward. I live in a Clearwater suburb, Dunedin - right across the Clearwater line. It is an upscale neighborhood. Homes had been selling in the $200 per square foot range. The lowest price home was about 450K.
Now real estate prices have really dropped. The 3500 square foot home across the street from me has gone down about 100K in the 1.5 years it has been on the market. AND it is still not selling!
Now is an incredible time to get a serious bargain on Clearwater real estate. There are some pretty desperate sellers out there.
