Hope you all have had a great summer.

You have probably noticed real estate being in the news a lot lately. The government bail out of the mortgage giants, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac has created quite a stir. This move should lower interest rates even further and restore confidence in the trouble mortgage market.

You may also have read that that sales are up. They actually are - due to many taking advantage of the incredibly low prices. We just sold an incredible 2/2 condo, fully equipped with Tommy Bahama furniture, 3 plasma TVs, granite counter tops in a resort like development on the Tampa Bay. The original buyer paid almost 500K - our buyer paid - 133K!!!!!

The better news is there are more units available. We have a very similar unit below as the first property in this newsletter.

It really is an excellent time to take advantage of the surplus of properties for sale. Mortgage rates are still very low. If you have any intention of buying a place in Florida - now is definitely the time to take a serious look at it. The upscale 3500 square foot house across the street from us was purchased for 447K in 2005. The owners put about 50K into it. The house sold last week for 349K.

Grand Venezia, Clearwater - 144.9K

This is an incredible deal for either a home owner, second home, or investor. Living here is like living in a 5 star resort complex with all of the amenities. We know - as we lived there and loved it. This unit is fully designer furnished including 3 plasma TVs.
