Design

Original materials and the classic construction of the building have been preserved during the renovation while modern elements such as gourmet kitchens, exposed overhead ductwork and underground parking have been expertly integrated, providing a wonderful blend of yesteryear's character and today's energy. Architects have taken special care to allow for internal structural customization by loft owners to create unique layouts. The open hallways and shared exercise area encourage a sense of community within the 918 Lofts.

Because the 918 Lofts is a small custom loft development project, it offers both an intimate scale (only 30 units) and a variety of unique floor plans. Design techniques have been implemented to enhance the already large flow of light in each of the units and to create a sense of social enclaves within the building.
